Flash Cards: First 300 High Frequency Words (Phonic Ebooks: Sounds Made Easy (Phonic Flash Cards For Children)) Review
This ebook includes the first 300 high frequency words that children will often see to read and/or spell. Some can be decoded (read using phonics) others are tricky words (words that need to be learnt by sight – word recognition). High frequency words are taught the same as tricky words (through word recognition). This helps children become fluent readers as they should not need to use their phonics to decode these words that appear often in their reading. This ebook is separated into sections, 10 words per page. These words can be used to practice or assess high frequency words.
By the end of Year One children should:
Read automatically the list of 100 High Frequency words.
Accurately spell most of the 100 High Frequency words.
Simple and easy to use flashcards that you can scroll through or use the navigation provided to skip to the

This ebook can be used in an educational setting on an interactive whiteboard. An ebook that is wonderful on kindle in greyscale but fantastic in full colour on PC and colour capable devices. These books have been specifically created to be ebooks and to be used on PC’s, Kindle and interactive whiteboards.
This ebook follows the recommended order to teach children how to read under the “Letters and Sounds” scheme (DfES - Primary National Strategy) that most UK Primary Schools use to teach reading. Compliments “Letters and Sounds - Phase 2, 3, 4 and 5” work.
